you and me

this is just teenage life drama..

we set out for a journey

we had no idea what it had for us

we had our fears and woes, but

we also had our strengths.

upon the sea we set our boat

it was a rough one but it accepted us atlast

the waves crushed into us

sometimes we felt like giving up

but you consoled me

that everything was ok,

you were my pillar and upon your word,

i was reassured.

i had my doubts, but your comforting words

chased them away.

after it stablised, we though we were there

only targeting to get to the shore

as we got there, we were reckless of the sea,

thought we were the only creatures out ther,

but we were wrong!

when that huge wave surge same upon us,

we were not to survive this,

it would mark the end of us

it was so strong that it washed our bones

back to the shore, where we had began.

was it my fault, your faul or her fault?

i don't, cant answer that but all i know

is that she tore us apart.

but mayb she is not to blame.. mayb its u to blame

y u fallen for her as i waited around for you!

may be its my fault, that i had to leave you

when i found out?

i dnt know!!

its still a mystery to me.

The imagery here goes perfectly along with the emotions presented, a clear vision connects the two! The boat and the waves for instance, that was highlight of this poem in my opinion. When a new relationship begins the two set sail on a journey not knowing what will come, and they have to play by chance. Surviving the journey may be the hardest part, but in the end it has the greatest reward, love, happiness, and togetherness. Though sometimes the ship does crash, it sinks, and the journey is over. But as the saying goes..: "It's better to have loved and lost rather than than to have never loved at all" Well done with this.. I really enjoyed it.
