having a little chat with MISS 2012 and MR 2013

this is just a poem about the new years...

ok,
how should I say this??
MISS 2012 without hurting your feelings?

you have been a great and wonderful year.
but as we all know you are now past.
and we should always look forward.

am so sad to say

this,

but you have outlived your time

and you have to be gone....

don’t be sad!!
I also once welcomed you..

remember??

we also had some great moments,
so now let’s welcome our new comer
MR 2013!

here he comes..
with yet another set of adventures for us.

blessings, aspirations, achievements
and so much more.

but as I once told MISS 2012,
That I had to commit her into GOD'S hands
I also tell you, that I will commit you into GOD'S hands
because he guides my life and everything that I do.
I reassure you that with HIM, we will achieve tremendous things.

SO I COMMIT 2013
INTO GOD'S HANDS SO THAT IT CAN
BE SUCH A WONDERFUL YEAR FOR US ALL!!

A lovely piece with very interesting ideas behind it! I love the excitement and nostalgia in this piece, the sadness that the old year is gone and the enthusiasm to see what the new year would bring. I'm not very religious, but I still think it was an interesting way this poem turned out! Lovely :D

Like a sense of you sending 2012 to the hands of God like its passing lived it life and now it must pass over to the light of god. You expressed a feeling of sadness from both sides yours and that of 2012 departing a grieving of sorts for the both of you but with this you become strong for you both and state you must move on now, for there's more to be discovered for there's a new individual of sorts coming forth to help or maybe give everyone a chance to make themselves or try to do better in life helping and having more compassion. As always keep writing fellow writer.
