The Climber

Inspired by The Climber Manga but also my experiences with hiking

Every single day of my life
I climb up another mountain
I take my time and slowly walk up
I use every bit of strength inside my hands
My hands covered in frostbite
Cold and yet warm at the same time
Do I let go?
No I don’t
I keep climbing
I will never let go again
Every day, I’m closer to the peak
And at the top I’ll look down to you
