Chapter 3~ The BeachA Chapter by Mackeroni and CheeseAlicia and Jacoby run into Alicia's parents on the beach, and Alicia gets forbidden to see Jacoby. She sneaks out to see him.Now I'm sure that I know what love is. Jacoby and I have been on a date every night, followed by walk on the beach. Every night ends with many passionate kisses. His lips are always soft and warm, just like that first night, when we first kissed. We decided to skip school today. He picked me up right at dawn. We spent the entire day walking on the beach, looking out at the ocean and listening to the waves. Jacoby shined like a star under the bright sun. It was mid-afternoon. The waves were at low tide. All I could smell was ocean water, sand, and Jacoby. He had the slighest scent of cinnamon whirling around him. I still loved him, even though I really don't like the smell of cinnamon. We started to kiss. We were in an un-breakable embrace, when suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Jacoby and I stopped kissing. I turned around only to find myself face to face with my mother. I was horrified. She had the most horrible look on her face. A cross between angry, sad, disappointed, and hurt, all at the same time. Then, she spoke. "How could you. How could you just go and betray me like that. I dont think your father would be very happy with you right now." "No, not father!" I replied. There was silence. Then my mother spoke, "Why Alicia, why? Why have you been lying to us. Sneaking around behind our backs. I thought I told you not to date until you were finished with school." I contemplated what to say. Many different thoughts were swirling around in my head. Finally, I spoke. "Mother, I couldn't help it. I couldn't wait untill then. I love Jacoby more than anything in this world and he loves me. Go ahead, tell father. I don't care. I just want to be with Jacoby!" My mother's face lit up like a light. She had never heard me talk to her like that before. Then she replied "Well then. I guess I have no choice but to ground you. You are forbidden from seeing this boy ever again." I felt my face turn bright red. I had never thought this day would come. I told Jacoby not to forget me. He looked at me, then he looked at the sand. He looked back up at me and said, "I won't. We'll find a way to make this work." That was the last I saw of Jacoby. Or so I thought. A week passed. I was still furious at my mother. I wasn't sure if I would ever see Jacoby again. All of a sudden, I heard a tapping noise at my window. It was Jacoby. I was ecstatic! "Jacoby! How did you find me?" He replied, "Lucky guess." He then flashed a grin whiter than ever before. His skin was tanner than the last time I saw him. He asked, "Do you want to go for a walk?" "Sure, anything to get me out of this house!" I replied. We went for a walk on the beach. I was so relieved to get away from my house. Jacoby sweeped me off of my feet and into his arms. I put my head against his chest and he cradled me. Then, we kissed. It was the best kiss ever. His lips were warmer and softer than ever before. I never wanted the day to end.
