just a little something I came up..it's been awhile since I've written actual poetry.

Someone like me
Sitting beneath an apple tree

 

 

Someone like her
someone like him
wading in the beach, feeling so free

 

 

Some of them
Some of us
watch the sunset, prevailing amongst

 

 

Some of this
Some of that
Oh look! It’s a fancy hat

 

 

Someone like you
Someone like me
Falling in love, happily

it seems a little indifferent... not bad, but indifferent.... I know the feeling of not writing for a while, and it is something like this... I loved the first stanza and the last.... the final lines in the other stanzas might be better less a few syllables... but it is a very good poem overall... I don't know why you have it rated mature though?

Very sweet! It's not how often you write that counts, but the quality of your work! It's not indifferent at all, how can any love poetry be indifferent and why should the liberty of poetry be bound by how your stanza's should be built up?
Frankly, I don't understand why it should be rated as 'mature'... Well, I'm European, we have somewhat different standards about 'mature ratings' and I must admit, I did rate some of my work as mature too, while I wouldn't have done so in case I'd submitted it on a European site!

It's such a sweet poem.I love the rhyme scheme.So unique and so good at the same time.I kinda got lost in between but it definitely came out to be good.
