The two fairy's

The two fairy's

A Poem by magicwhisper

she stumbled through the forest dragging her chains behind her, when she heard rustling in the trees ahead, she dragged herself forward and in the moon light she saw a creature , the creature saw her and crawled forward as far as the chains would let him. Realising this creature could walk no further she tiptoed forward to look at the creature, she slowly knelt down beside the creature and the creature glanced up then looked away scared. Under the moonlight she could see the creature clearly . she looked at the creature and took in his scars, bumps and bruises all over his body. She glanced up at his scared face and noticed his deep blue eyes, as she looked closer she could see all the pain and trauma he has been through, his beautiful  eyes told a story of his past, she looked into his blue eyes and could see the pain he holds deep inside him, hidden were no one can see.  She looked at this dear creature and noticed how strong the chains were bound to him.

And suddenly it dawned on her, this creature has the same scars, bumps and bruises that she has, she looks closer into his eyes and realises why she can understand there meaning, it’s because her eyes tell a similar story.  She moved closer and softly touched the fairies face then turned to walk away as she understood that only he could break himself free from the black fairy.

Suddenly she  heard a crack, she turned around to see the creature breaking his chains from the monster. A monster of the same breed that had captured her not long ago . a creature she had not long escaped from the grasps of.

He attempts to walk but his chains stop him from doing so, he sadly looked at the broken chains that bound him then points to hers, he attempts to pick up his chains but realise that it is impossible to carry on his own so he holds half of them to the other fairy, she grabbed them and held them close, these chains don’t seem as heavy to carry as hers do to drag around. He then grabs half of her chains and they both smiled, a deep pained but knowledgeable smile. A smile neither of them are willing to reveal the secrets behind of just yet but they knew that didn’t matter because they were free of The Emotor, and  between them they now know they can now defeat any monster that stands in there way.
