Love is...

Based of 1Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient:
more infinite
than the stars
in Heaven.

Love is kind:
a touch
softer than the
loveliest smile.

Love hasn't envy:
poisoned, forked
tongue of jealousy
cannot be.

Love never speaks
words boasting;
pride and self-seeking,
are unseen.

Not easily angered:
Love forgives -
wrongs remain unwritten
and unrecorded. 

Love does not
find evil's
tendrils slow snaking
delightful, but...

Love is truth;
rejoicing everlasting;
no wrong it
cannot undo.

Love always insures
a shelter
from stinging rain,
raging storm.

Love is trust;
embodying hope -
Persevering regardless of
the unknown.
