La Lujaria (translated into english also - Lust)

Free verse - Spanish and English, though I prefer it in Spanish.

Perdido en el huracán
de ningunas palabras -
no hay corazón,
ni alma;
no hay significado,
y ningún escape…
No hay el amor.

Ahogar más profundo
en la onda de emoción;
consumió enteramente
como la beso de muerte
consume el aliento de vida.

Eso es la tormenta de mariposa.

 

Lust

Lost in the hurricane
of no words -
there is no heart,
nor soul;
there is no meaning,
and no escape…
There is no love.

Drowning deeper
in the wave of emotion;
consumed entirely
like the kiss of death
consumes the breath of life….

That is the storm of the butterfly.
