I remember

I remember them,

the day when I first 

laid my mind on you.

The day I felt that 

I was made for this.

The moment I wanted 

to be in your realm.

Yet distressed 

of my incapability.

You were so subtle,

made me 

even more vulnerable.

But here I stand now

urged to intact myself.

Being chosen from you,

gives an immense pleasure.

And intend me to 

be a skillful one.

Never again will 

back down from the 

milieu of writing.

The words have made 

me stronger.

Realize what I am 

and what I want to be.

I will remember this day

as the prolific day 

of my life.

for poets, the words make us stronger...the words give us purpose...

first line seemed a little awkward because the second line talks about one day....but then it all smooths out...and is an interesting journey of giving in to that feeling of writing that nags at some of us until we take it on.
