The Wind Is growing wilder

I am waiting for the rain

Looking at the sky

Thoughts are moving along the clouds.

A smile peeped out of them all

Shine and bright the sun comes out

Saying hello! to the world.

And the day is back again

Saying bye bye to the night.

Here in the UK we sometimes long for rain but rarely. More often we pray for sun and the feeling of casting off winter clothes. Nice piece with feeling at its core.
