A simple word, one

That represents the start

Of something new;

The introductory to an

Unknown relationship

That hasn’t yet begun.

 

Hello

Is something neutral;

No positive but no negative,

Simply a greeting that people

Say to any and everyone.

 

Hello

Holds so much power

In its’ single syllable;

It’s polite without meaning

To be, it’s rude without

Thinking, it’s only a word

People can say without

Processing anything.

 

Hello

Can be said to mean a

Great deal of things

Without communicating

Much else than that word.

 

Hello

Is scary for some;

It’s a path into the dark,

It’s taking a chance on

Something different,

It’s walking with someone

With your eyes closed

As you just have them

To lead you.

It’s putting your faith into

Someone new.
