Dear LoveA Poem by Maria CarmenThis is about talking to someone while they sleep soundly and confessing your feelings as they have told you something about them and confessed their feelings to you.“Dear Love” I would kiss you softly on your cheek
as I left you to sleep as you slept so soundly and to say sweetly, “Dear love, you’ve spent your night opening up your heart and soul along with your past to me than you ever have before in which I am truly happy and grateful. For a year we’ve spent together has made me everything except regretful of what we went through and conquered together in some sort. Dear love, your pain for her may have not subsided after only a few months but I promise you it will once you will have discovered the truth about everything and to follow your own path as they say ‘truth will out’. But I have been secretly grieving for your torment over this woman and your fears for stability as I have hope as I have learned I can give you when you seek it at time or if you wish to take hold of it to help you lead the life you want. But now, dear love, do sleep and dream a place beyond reality in which you long to be in your wildest fantasies and come to me when we shall meet up again and keep enchanting me even if you don’t realize you do for I am so in love with you.” © 2009 Maria CarmenAuthor's Note
