Tobe flower and beauty let me hold you like a pigeon

Tobe flower and beauty let me hold you like a pigeon

A Poem by alex

If ever one day I die,
Blossoming Carnations
Is my lively spirit
Wilted Peonies
Is my soul,

I no longer afraid of the dawn
Nor am I afraid of the dusk,

I explain it to my Mother
That the burning sensation in my heart
Is Death itself,
She asks me if that explains so much

I tell her
"may I wish I could be a child again?"
She explains wholeheartedly,
That I am still her little princess

But the Sunset must have realized
More than what the Sunrise thinks,
I began to wonder
If I should close my eyes
Or
Opening my eyes

The Blossoming and Wilted Flowers
Has odors and smell
Elderly folks complains about youngsters
Some wish to be young again
Some wants to become older

If I ask one more thing before I leave this world
Will he ever response to my wish?

Making The Curse look like a Wish?
or
The Wish may be looking like a Curse?

You have written with a heart full of wonder and wondering, ales. So many people would like to go back to childhood but it's nigh impossible. We adults can only remember the wonderful feelings children have when seeing or feeling, hearing and remembering something-everything for the very first time. For me, I feel that age can allow humans to not age but merely be, remembering the joy of playing and enjoying every minute of it. Age should NOT wither us but invite us to prove we can do more and more - and more! Many thanks for sharing! :)

The title of your poem is so descriptive!
