the leader

two nites before the election

getting to be powerful

how and why

a huge undertaking

to bolster ones self esteem

and, it is hoped ,to help others

to eat, to live and to feel better

while ruling with all eyes in obeyance   

giving reverence, respect and even worship

to another human being  -flawed and naturally

designed to function as a body

and if lucky  a soul

  to the person who will govern our country     god speed

People made a choice...and some live with it while others can't abide without knowing why... So much anger over the status quo that even "cheating" wasn't enough - go figure.

yes it pits friends against friend happened to me and sadly family against family my kids
like the civil war!!
