Sisters (I'll Be)

I'll stand by you,

Even when you don't think I will.

I'll hold your hand-

Through the good and bad.

I'll come runnin,

As soon as you call my name.

I'll be the first one there-

When you fall down in life.

I'll be the one,

You can come to always.

I'll make you promises,

That I'll never break.

I'll probably make you mad,

But, you'll get over it soon enough.

I'll be the one to slap you in the head,

When I see you do something that's stupid.

I'll be the one who no matter what-

Will always be your sissy.

Awe that was just too sweet honestly the best way to let someone know you will always be their even someone like you sibling through the good and the bad time. I'm 55 and the bond with my siblings is still tight. Probably tighter for them, as they are all sisters, but still... Your poem touched my heart. I like the font you used, it brought images of a sister sitting at a typewriter hitting keys to express her feelings for her little sister.

Your words reflect the special bond that sisters share. They root for each other, give advice, share their clothes(well, in this case, not so much! LOL) No one can get madder at each other nor forgive each other more than sisters. With a sister, you have a best friend for life!

I totally agree and yeah we don't have the luxury of sharing clothes lol, but she does love to put my shoes on and walk around and then enjoys putting her little tiny shoe on my foot...lol....but I love her and enjoy all the weird things being her sissy is....And to be honest she's not my biological sibling. I have these people I call my second family and I love them to death they're two little kids this one Mackenzie who just turned 3 in December and their little boy who just turned 7 in November I love them to death I'm their sissy and always will be no matter what....blood is just a thing family is everything and they are family. I have a poem I wrote for the little boy it's called my promise to you...check it out if you want. I'm so glad to get such great feedback and would love more on some of my other work. I'm only 15 and ain't quit sure what I'm doing, that's why I don't review peoples cuz I don't really know. But, thanks again! Sorry for rambling.
