Erased

Erased

A Poem by Pizz Azz "Jenk" Jenkins

I'm an outline; a simple mold filled with the best intentions.

I have a heart, although cracked and damaged, it still retains warmth.

My hair is short, black, and lifeless straw.

My eyes are a rusted, dull, calming green.

My skin's fair, soft, pale, and freckle-dusted.

My lips, fissured and desolate, left with a pulse but no trace of life.

My body curvaceous; a devoid Botacelli.

Vivacious and once brilliant time has jaded me.

I'm flawed, smudged, and faded.

Forgotten and lost.

One swipe, then two, three.

I'm erased.
