Escapade

A poem about wanderlust.

To cross the roads of the unknown

To dash without possibilities

Defying the words of worry

Into a world of grand fantasy

 

To fulfil craving boundaries

To reject the past for the coming

Breaks freedom of thy conquered self

Lifts a heart of such truthful feeling

 

To forget the burdens; to fly

To make an adventure of such tales

Even of those given beliefs

Even of those we don’t know exist
