Bloom

You're like a flower when you're blooming

staring in the midnight sky

 

So impatient when you're blooming

waiting for the sun to rise

 

I see you're thirsty for the raindrops

but the sky won't cry

 

Oh how I wish I could water you

but these eyes are dry....

Your words were sweet and also a great visual. To be seen as a flower's bloom is a compliment. Also I think of a bloom as something seeking attention of some kind. An entity to attract insects. A thirsty bloom adds another dimension to the picture.

The title caught my attention because I love plants and I have also written a piece about a bloom. Your words encourage me to share it one day. Enjoyed this!
