A little rotten meat won't kill you.
Just suck between your teeth and swallow it down.
The water in your tap carries the gifts of industry, solute!
The sheen of a lake mirrors mercury.
Now we've got a picnic.
Our table's recycled plastic. I wonder how that works,
while I enjoy the fetid breeze.
We need more fire!
We need to dig and find the mother of gold
and chain her for daily raping.
We need to mix the goos of life and science
to be the gods we dream of.
All of baby's toys are made of poison.
Don't check the label. Smell it.
Smell the air.
Mother's milk's a cocktail, solute!
Only the metals are pure now and they are melting.
They are melting in the fire of plastic god dreams.
And they are melting into us.
And we are set;
silvery statues lining the path of reason
as it gently curves around
Through the express tunnel up its a*s.
Smell the air of tomorrow.
Enjoy paradise.
Thanks, Marcus.

The title refers to things that are mixed together, a solution. I don't know how to prevent pollution and clean up the planet. There are too many people. We can make an effort to not be wasteful. But things that are made locally, blah, blah. Haha
We need a plague that's smarter than us. We need to get rid of the cities. Maybe a zombie apocalypse to keep the survivors entertained. That would give the oceans a chance to bury all the nasty stuff we've dug up. what do you think?

I say get rid of banks, and corrupt governments, and things may get better..

One of the first things he signed was a paper increases the acceptable level of arsenic in my drinking water. He gave the job of protecting our environment to the leader of a huge petroleum company. He had our military invade the most oil-rich area of the planet, and now he's retired, getting payed to give speeches.... I'd like to see a zombie recycle that guy. Haha

I like to feel we are adapting to things. Making a new world. Maybe saving the old one.

Have fun adapting when the oceans stagnate! Maybe we can adapt into non-mammalian life forms.

We tend to outsource our problems and pretend they are taken care. I remember from college, they'd found bromine in the breast milk of every woman they tested, in a global test. All this stuff we put into the air and water has the potential to filter through us as it gets absorbed back into the planet.
seems everyday we see a warning or a recall and I hate when it's something like toxic crayons or the paint on a two year old's Thomas the Train toy. Children's tylenol, tainted toothpaste, BPA levels in plastics. Kids are hitting puberty at ridiculous ages these days because of the affect the environmental factors have on development. They are not mature enough to understand what the hell puberty even is!!! OMG. I feel a rant coming on. Breathe and stop... Did you see the mutant daisies post Fukishima disaster?

I just saw the daisies. Uh oh, look out Tokyo, here comes Daisilla. Haha

There's a mutant lizard somewhere there too I'm sure.
Such rich imagery describing your feelings about the sorry state of our environmental world. Metals, plastics and toxins are your characters in this twisted passion play. Very well written, matt. take care...dan
the solution is a putrid mix of immoral and unethical goo, where the land and its people are victims, over and over they are abused, for the treasures pushing humanity into the future... and, this paradise will eventually rid us of the scum but will take us with it too... welcome to tomorrow, here's your Kevlar-reinforced bio-hazard suit, but it won't do you any good...
