Somewhere over Horizen

Somewhere over Horizen

A Poem by Matthew James Ginn

It was the rays.
the soft, cheerful rays of sunlight anew.
Simple confusion of my own petty delusion.
Lead my heart on.
Let it not be laid ash shaken.
The brimstone of self pity.
Standing in these rays.
Wrapped in little refuge of grace.
The red yellow furnace of fate.
Burns strong from day to day.
Among the those benevolent rays.
Nothing is unreachable.
Somewhere over Horizon
when it rises and meets my daze.
The mundane world.
Has nothing but peace to taste.
Somewhere over Horizon.
my future may wait.
the time has arisen.
Finally find my place.

I love this. It shows a grasp of grace and peace which most don't have. you know your future is still waiting for you, it hasn't forgotten you.

Ah the last stanza is wonderful, a very lovely and true poem to read
''Nothin is unreachable''
The main reason is the this days, humans (mostly teens) Don't believe they can fulfill their dreams
Wich is really sad because we all can, We are the only ones who put the barrier to not do it
An excellent poem, Thanks for sharing
