Rebellious

Rebellious

A Poem by Max Rwizi, Jr.

I saw her again tonight.
The woman that conspired with my eyes to steal my heart a long time ago.
My mind echoed the way I felt about her the first time I saw her
A raw, visceral pull that tightened low in my belly.
Her dark skin the color of rich earth after a downpour, glistened under the dim light.
Each curve and hollow a secret landscape I yearned to explore with my fingertips and lips.
A rebellious fire danced in the depths of her eyes
A dare that both thrilled and humbled me.
Her locks, thick and black as a moonless night, cascaded down her back a wild untamed river I wanted to tangle my hands in to feel their weight and silk against my skin.
The air crackled with unspoken desires as she moved a slow deliberate sway of her hips that spoke of hidden hungers.
I imagined the soft gasp that would escape her lips as my fingers traced the delicate line of her jaw the yielding warmth of her throat beneath my touch.
A thrill shot through me at the thought of the small sounds she might make.
The way her breath might catch when pressure was applied a silent language of surrender and fierce pleasure that only we would understand
