Price PaidA Poem by Mazie Tackett
You made me feel alive.
You gave me faith. Then you went and made me cry. Now I feel unsafe. Look at what you did to me. Look at what you've done. Why can't you see someone has to pay the price and I am that one. All the love I gave you, All the times I cared, this is what you do And the pain isn't even shared. I'm the only one that pains from what was shown. You thought it was all fun and games. I guess I was just a stepping stone. I'm sick of what you put me through. I should of guessed. I should of knew. To you I was just a pest. To you I'm just another heart to break, Another dream to crush, Just another flake. To you, I hate your stinking guts. © 2012 Mazie TackettAuthor's Note
