Just A Pub Urinal

Just A Pub Urinal

A Poem by Michael Sun Bear
"

A beautiful toilet

"

Just A Pub Urinal

Often beauty is relative to need.

Four or five pints

And the need is sudden and intense.

That long trough of stainless steel

Filled with mounds of gleaming ice

Is one of the nights most beautiful sights.

I never imagined, a pub urinal could evoke such delightful lines but indeed, I've been in road traveling situations where the need was intense with no loo in sight for miles, and it was sheer agony. That pub urinal must be indeed such a beautiful sight! I loved the poem.

Ha! I just read your poem about frontal lobe deterioration, and it made me think about the relativity of beauty, so this is a great poem to have read next. Hilarious

Laughing! Wanted to return the compliment you've just left me but, sadly the similarity between pub urinal and love and the like is absolutely impossible!
