THE MONETIZATION OF POETRY

I was lonely

I was lost

I wandered into a Cafe

I found words

I found joy

I found inspiration

I found community

I found community

I do not wish to lose this

It is so dear to my heart

It so sorrowful that we're all sitting around a place so beloved waiting for the day it becomes obsolete. Our words, our work, our sweat, our tears . . . it all means so much to us. To fear we will meet the day when it is all gone, and we lose connection with the friends we made here, is a truly horrifying thought. I think you encapsulated that nostalgic helplessness perfectly. And you definitely were spot on with the anger.
