A Call To Action

Let’s fix this

This is no poem. It is a call to action. Is this community important to you? Is this website important to you? Are you as fed up as I am with days of downtime, being timed out over and over again?  Considering all the advertising on this site we deserve better.  I have come to the conclusion that things will not improve unless we take matters into our own hands.  How many thousands use this site?  The count is very important to the advertisers.  I propose a month long embargo, no one even attempt to enter or use the site for one month.  If advertisers see a precipitous drop in count, they will demand the owners of this site upgrade their server and any other necessary upgrades or they will pull their advertising taking money from the owners pockets. Considering the huge volume of advertising on this site a lot of money is going into someone’s pockets. The biggest problem I see is how to effectively spread the word when the site is not even working.  Any ideas?  I propose an embargo for the month of October

I am banned from Facebook, I have no idea why. Two or three years ago when this site was down management posted an internet suggestion people check out their Facebook page. Would someone see if there still is a Facebook actt and ask management why they cannot fix things considering how monetized this site is.

I want to back this because, in theory, that should work. But the issue I am worried about is that they wont care. The site is already kind of starting to become dead in the water -- I fear us choosing to drop the log ins so severely that it will give them cause to stop trying altogether. Death comes when chest compressions stop. You know? And I am certainly not judging your idea or chastising you for having it, I think I am just worried.
