A poem about my brother

I

My brother hates much

The world owes him so he thinks

Rick left with his dog

II

Well aware to vote

He watches only Fox News

Gun safe holds ten votes

III

Deckhand on a tug

On the Yukon white water

Mastodon bones too

IV

My only sibling

Came home from cancer anew

With grin of a corpse

I was reading haikus on another site while WC was down and thought to give it a try. At first I made a lot of mistakes, definitely not use to thinking in terms of syllables. But it’s addictive, I had to make myself stop. My brother and I are complete opposites. This is the first time I have written of him.
