A most lovely poem close to my heart in its message. I try to live in harmony with nature seeing few people in the midst of nature surrounded by tropical forest I appreciate the birds, flowers and animals and try not to intervene (except to swat an occasional mosquito or fly) This poem speaks to man's needed relationship to nature. Well done
Beautifully written… Reach out to those in need.. with open palms to feed every type of hunger.
Sentimentally along my train of thought about Our World and Creator…
Let’s all Live out Our Best Lives and in Harmony with Nature!
Sad for us and the world itself that the prevailing idea of what defines the pinnacle of humanity is often guided by our own worst impulses. And how easily we bury the voice within that naturally calls out for justice. It is hard to function emotionally and intellectually in this world so deeply defined by injustice. I hope the creator does mourn looking on. I need a creator who mourns in loving all creation equally rather than one who embraces tribalism, greed, and pettiness as humans so often do. This is a very thoughtful plea, and good reminder to seek out our humanity and share it wherever we can. To fight for those who can’t fight for themselves— or just need help. We need more thoughts like this.
Well, this female deity seems to be an improvement over the male Abrahamic god. No bullying, no head busting or taking sides. I'm still not sure about gods with genders, though. As soon as I got comfortable with this one, I might find out she and her fellow goddesses were getting together for lunch and gossiping about me behind my back.

It is a failure of our language that there is no name or label that properly expresses this. I like to use the feminine when referring to the act of creation as giving birth is a feminine act. And yes, I did enjoy your humor.
Yes, "Every Type of hunger" and there are many types, especially the hunger for love, peace and understanding.
We so have to stop turning away because if we do, what are we really turning to?
Row row row the boat merrily merrily
To the right now to the left
Row row row the boat
I don't know where I am I see
I am sometimes india sometimes
Middle East most of the time USA
The boat gifted by my dad I row
Row row the boat....me with bag and my 💕 husband
I see I am big world is short.
It is not related to your poem but just tried to drop review to say hi how are you i am fine 🙂...
Many will argue about the details of the Creator watching us --- male? Female? Hebrew? Something else? And yet, all will agree that the Creator is looking, and they are weeping. We are not creations the be proud of these days, and honestly, it sometimes feels like its getting worse.
You do a fantastic job of making this relationship between creator and creation the highlight of the piece without taking away from the overall message. Its speaks on the horrid truths of the world around us today in a way that is both prophetic and poetic, without feeling preachy. Sometimes preachy is good! But it wouldnt have fit here and you do amazing at steering away from that. The poem itself is solid and I sincerely enjoyed the read from beginning to end.

Emunah, you are a good friend. Thank you for the generous sharing of thoughts.
so sad for mother nature and those in need. respect for humanity begins with a healthy respect for nature. we are inextricably linked. good sentiment herein.
Michael Sun Bear, Oh! An Indian name! I love it!
Even here I have been stomped on by the very ones who warned me!
Humans are the most vicious animals.
We have to be reminded to watch out for the hands that feeds us.
I love your writing!

Once upon a time, a crazy, talented poet from across the Salish Sea told me of an intense dream she experienced in which she was given a strange title for a poem, but nothing more. She felt it import.. more..
