Robin V

Robin V

A Poem by Michael Sun Bear
"

A continuation of the story of my first love

"

Deep in winter still

I was dry of inspiration’s sap

Drowsy with depression

Withdrawn to my roots

Where I found you

Full of twists surely

Yet taproot of my heart

May we not

These final seasons

Nourish from our memories found

Leaf out again as one

A hybrid of love

Thanks for reading Pete.
Everything we carry from our past remains a gentle gift as we slip into the forever, there smiling and with hands reaching for hands. Yes?

Many and sincere thanks for sharing your thoughts, sir.

Thanks for reading EJG, much appreciated.
This drips with quiet longing—roots, winter, and the slow pulse of heartache all entwined.
The final wish blooms softly, tender and honest, like sunlight breaking through frozen branches.

Thomas thank you.
And I suppose this is the same robin, though the acceptance has dawned.
It is still a fairytale and lovely.
Thank you for sharing, Mr Michael Sun Bear.
