Lunacy

Lunacy

A Poem by Michael Sun Bear
"

A woman I still love across time and geography

"
Does the moon know
Does she even care
That across the vast distance
She pulls entire oceans
This way and that?

Seemingly forever
Have I loved her

Does she know
Does she even care
That across the vast count of years
And a thousand miles of roads
Still she pulls my weary heart
This way and that?

Love lasts ‘til death
And assuredly beyond

Love lasts ‘til death
And assuredly beyond. I couldn't agree more and this poem I feel proves it. Simply, sadly gorgeous.

Ah, thank you Ken, a sweet review.
Chasing the moon is something you just have to do. Especially if gives something to write on. Nice work my friend.

Thank you Brandon.
The magical, mesmerizing moon. Certainly has her fans and is magnificent to look at in the velvet dark sky. I can understand the attraction Michael. She has featured in many a poem. Enjoyed the read.

Thanks Chris, I appreciate your words, always.
I make a point of looking to the moon as often as I can, as she still pulls me too. ~Jim
