For Robin

For Robin

A Poem by Michael Sun Bear
"

Written for an old love in distress

"
So well I know
The hells we create
With our bad choices
You can walk free of yours
I would never judge
All I can offer is
A warm bed, a warm heart
And talking far into the night
Perhaps healing
For us both

The last five lines tell the story of this one. The speaker is offering comfort to a previous love who is now suffering. The ability to forgive and be kind gives hope to evolution.
