God, Christ, Guru

God, Christ, Guru

A Poem by Michael Sun Bear
"

Bismillah ir Rahman ir Rahim

"

There was only Spirit

Alone in eternity

Much later named by man

Sat, Jehovah, God, Allah, Creator

There were no rivers of stars

No spin of galaxies

No planets, life, animals, plants

No humans

Alone slumbering, singing to Self the

Bliss of self-knowing

He awakened to a desire

To know Himself through multiplicity

So from the void Allah awoke

And sang a single holy note

Giving rise to all vibration

Spirit song of life’s creation

He created all we know and do not know

Every universe

Every form of life

This required the creation of Maya

(Sanskrit meaning to measure)

The delusion that all creation

Has form and measurement

Thus differentiation

The illusion of many when

There is only the One

Scientists attempt to

Measure, measure, measure

From the vastness of universes

To the inner atom

Seeking smaller and smaller subatomic particles

Seeking God within quantum mechanics

There are no atoms, no particles

For they are an illusion of

Intersecting waves of energy

There is only the infinite vibration of Spirit

All energy of the One

God created humans with

Christlike powers

With spiritual centers, chakras

Along the spine

With spiritual energy that flowed

Only upward back to Spirit

Only man directly knew God

Man’s descent into delusion

Was to be temporary

Each soul dissolving back into Spirit

After a temporary sojourn

Into Maya

But God tasked Satan

With creation of Maya

And Satan so loved his creations

He could not part with them

He tempted mankind into sexual reproduction

Where we lost our knowing

Of the One

Our ability to simply flow back

Into Spirit

He created our animal birth

And death

Set in motion the wheels of reincarnation

As we each attempt to escape

Maya

And the cause and effect karma

Of each life lived

We exist only within the dreaming of God

The entire vibratory existence of Creation

Is overlain, imbued, guided, designed

With his Consciousness

 Termed Christ Consciousness by

Those liberated

Satan continuously creates strong attractions

Sex, infidelity, drugs, booze, killing, war

Food for every appetite

Mythologies of the non-existence

Of God

All designed to keep us firmly chained to

Maya, not

Christ Consciousness

Therefore God continuously sends

Divine Emissaries such as Christ

Prophets, Saints, Gurus, Murshids

Liberated beings who choose

To reenter Maya

While simultaneously existing in

Christ Consciousness

Who choose to undertake missions

To liberate souls

Author's Note

Michael Sun Bear
I have recently been reading Paramahansa Yogananda’s commentaries on Christian scripture and also listened last night to recordings of him leading devotees in chants. As a preface to one chant, he urged followers to constantly keep the thought God, Christ, Guru ever present in the mind and heart. I wrote about it.

Interesting, intelligent writing here. Micheal. And in understanding some of it I took hope for man's present condition.

spirit and soul is key. in the context of eternity, we're temporarily in the flesh for but the blink of an eye. "Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light." the problem with unbelievers/those who won't humble themselves and bow down, is that they think/act as if they are god.
