A beacon of light to a hurting world in need

We treasured a rose that was plucked some time ago

Grace seasoned with salt
A mighty work has been done in her life

A writer that enjoyed her life
A quest of passionate love & embrace
The call for beauty in her portrait of grace
Her hair was fashionable for it's time
A caress on the grip of her loving arms

One way that I wish to portray this poem is simply beautiful. Louise May Alcott used to visit her grandma's home in my home town of Wolcott. The home is literally a bock away from my house. It was their that she had the idea of Little Women. Strange as it seems I get visited by a little girl in my dreams in a blue coat. Coincidence maybe but it could be her ghost. After all she lived very close to my home. A portrait of grace is based on her life and what she went through. Thank you for the opportunity in which to express myself. Mario William Vitale Poet
