Laurel canyon

A Poem by Mario Vitale
"

A brief prayer. Then in Laurel Canyon

"

Hello Friends... Let's Pray...Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus Christ we come before your holy throne tonight. Lord speak tender words of love to your servants those...

both near & far away. Precious Lord, take our hand lead us through this barren land. Help us to reach out to our neighbors & friends. Dear Lord, send the Holy Spirit to be the comforter top our hearts ans souls. Father there are those with prayer requests this evening we lift them up to you dear Lord. Give us a fresh start with you God. Keep us safe from the attacks of Satan on our lives. Great is the Lord & greatly to be praised. We worship you Jesus with all our hearts...

Laurel Canyon

Zappa....
A part of the history of the sixties hippie movement
The vibe was hip...
sunset strip was where you went to parade

The Whiskey A Go Go was the elevated hippie sub culture place,
Strange insane dancing
A new change was starting to take place...The Beatles,
Buffalo Springfield & The Byrds...

young groupies would hitch hike to get there
The reflective social scene that definitely happened.
Starting with The Beatles & Bob Dylan
Everyone wanted to do the best that they could

through the music with sex, drugs & rock and roll
In L.A. love was all the rage....
People demonstrating with woman burning their bras
Going to Canada to escape the draft....

faces, eyes & feet
Love was in the air & everywhere
An avalanche of kids coming to a love in on sunset strip
Hanging in coffee shops,

500 kids with arms on the wall be frisked as hippies
Steven Stills,.for what it's worth.....
Hippies pout politicians cheer
The Jim Morrison Love Street Padpirits. Pray for my Wolcott friends that are in need of your humble touch. In Jesus Christ Precious Name, Amen
