Stranger In A Strange LandA Poem by Mario VitalepoemStranger In A Strange Landfind the answer to the mystery the brave new world lost in this place leaving no trace
look around to behold the ghosts are bleeding zombie nomadic tribesmen strong in fear social isolation lead to their frustration yet they carried on with a slight twist of a song calling me to the pit where souls departed in this place so all alone filled with visions taunt to crippling viscous long hanging fangs that bite dripping blood off side by choice raising their voices with swords with drawn in the battle to come giving a sense of wonder give me the strength to hold my head up spit right back in their face the perfect score I'm just a stranger in this pilgrim process of regime themed hell fire rages in the eyes starring at the crystal ball there's no vision there after all to blind to see isten to me Smoke stacked water on the pool of shallow murky solace disappeared below as the sun breaks above the ground an old man stands on a hill his eyes are a blaze temples of fire burning up the crowd breaks a young boy appears looks at the old man his eyes are a blazed as he flys a way on a dream fly touch the sun tearing my eyes were tearing from all the ghostly encounters in which came out bury me as high as you can see in a pyramid in the vortex of my mind social alarm from the army of disarray we pray for cadence another way one will equate logic with fear from a coast to coast and the seventh see I close my eyes and think of home another city goes by in the night so understand the wasted times always searching for those wasted years really realize your living in the golden years with too much time on my hands searching in the dark will bring you to its fullest light if you wait & be patient bury me head first dead deeper then ever before lest i implore another opened door faces, places & spaces © 2017 Mario Vitale |
