I want to escape

but where can I go

I want to be heard

but who will listen

 

I want someone to understand

but how can I explain

only pencil on paper

knows who I am

 

a picture won't argue

it's what I want it to be

it takes the hurt away

and changes into something pleasant

 

a picture is whatever you want it to be

sad or happy however you please

and in the end I always feel better

taking my hurt out on paper

This poem is sweet and sentimental. it portrays an almost bitter and angry venation of a persons inner angry, but it is almost soft to read, which for me make it relate so much more to what you're saying, how it takes the pain away. Excellent piece, well done!
