Music Dances

Poem inspired by my love for music

Blurring  lines and crossing over

boundaries of ethnic dispositions.

Fingers dancing over hot keys

lingering on warm notes, surging

through the speakers of lyrics.

The sax, trumpets and horns

blazing, seductively pounding!

Bellowing in the air, releasing waves of creative energy!

Propelling its universal voice across the sea, shifting the current.

Vivacious vocals leading the way

raspy, raw, smooth and mellow.

Releasing orgasmic rhythms and exploding melodies!

Leading compositions, saturating the spirit

with the solemn sounds of a bass.

With no inhibitions and without hindrance,

striking against the beat of my heart

music dances!

I like it. The only comment I would make is on the grammar. I would use a maximum of 1 exclamation mark in the whole piece. I try to avoid them myself as I think to many loses the impact.
