This is Emiline and her demons. She hates them. She befriends them. She loves them.

They consume her.

This is Annalise and her demons. She hates them. She befriends them. She loves them.

They consume her.

This is Corbin and his demons. He hated them. He befriended them. He loved them.

They consumed him.

 

This is dead best friends.

This is unloving mothers and long-gone fathers.

This is the sad look in baby brother's eyes, and the disappointed one in big sister's.

These are Emiline's demons.

 

This is counting calories.

This is empty, aching stomachs.

This is broken mirrors and broken hearts.

These are Annalise's demons.

 

This is darkness.

This is unrelenting night.

This is the witching hour.

These are Corbin's demons.

I love the intro. It's a fantastic poem. I can tell this is going to be a very angst ridden book. I'm excited to see how you deal with some serious issues in your writing!
