I miss you so much

I don't know what to do

Our family was so close

that we feel lost without you.

 

We still wait for you to come in that door

Just to see your face and hear your voice once more

 

We want you to know

that even though your not here

we're never far apart

Because you will forever be

[Poetic Beauty]

This is touching and sad. It felt like my grandma was on vacation almost a year after she passed away. The smell of sugar cookies still reminds me of her and now I smile. Loosing someone is hard and it takes time. This poem clearly states those thoughts and emotions.
