If I Could Spell "Love"A Poem by Meliss@k
If I could spell
"Love" With a brush And paint, I'd spell it out With blood from a Saint Who was spit on and cursed For doing no wrong, I'd gather a canvas And wipe it white Till the blood seeps through To the other side. I'd drink up the blood With a sacred bread heal And watch my withered body Slowly Start to heal. As a stitch is sewn From the inside out A crowd Ties my knot In their world of doubt, Still disbelieving Blinded to seeing Blood spilling out of A lamb and his crown. © 2013 Meliss@kReviews
