Midnight Forest

I'm trying really hard to add to it.... any suggestions?

Beasts of the night

stand erect

and proud.

sillhouttes cast

in milky light,

they sing sweet nothings

to the rising darkness.

I like it as is. I really like these short poems. Just because they can shed a touching and power meaning in them if you just look deep into them and find meaning to it to just you. I think you should just leave it awesome write!!!!

I think it is the perfect length. Short and simple, yet powerful and deep is the mark of true poet, in my opinion. One of my favorites I have read on WC.
