Three Months

A tri-month-versary piece I had written for a lady

In the night sky, stars shine brightly

An endless blanket of dreams above

Only there could I find a star so alluring

An astounding shine, such splendor

 

Reaching out, I am filled with delight

As this light from afar draws ever nearer

With every moment, she is more beautiful

This radiance in the dark, ever burning

 

I greet her warmth with strong embrace

Never will I dare to let her go

This fiery passion cannot be quenched

Perpetually amazed by her glow

 

Three months have since passed

My hold firm still, unyielding

Serenity and devotion envelop us

May it remain so for time yet to come
