Honest LiarA Poem by MiaI'm tired of dealing with this aching body...When I lay my body to rest tonight, I pray; I pray that the heavens above, would rid me of this constant ache. This obviously, paradoxical "growing pains" of mine. When I lay my body to rest tonight, I pray; I pray that the heavens above, would help me feel my toes in the morning. This evidently, ridiculous body of mine. When I lay my body to rest tonight, I pray; I pray that the heavens above, would unburden my shoulders. This obnoxiously, structured muscles of mine. You see, pain colors you in deep shades of scarlet red and mournful blue. It steals your mind, your will and apparently even your sense of humor. Don't bother giving me unsolicited advice, with your " workout more, love yourself" bullshit and "focus on your growth and the pain is worth it" nonsense. The lord knows you're a big liar and a bigger cheat, so am I. At least, if nothing else; I'm an honest liar.
