Hopes Abloom

Hopes Abloom-

Baby's Breath a delicate understated flower
Baby's Breath a colossal flora to me
Infertility seemed an eternity

An unexpected, expectant mother in waiting
I wait impatiently with baited breath
I hurry up and wait, anxiously

A bouquet so sweet
Pollination's fertile seed
I now reap rewards that are astounding
Mother Nature's nectar is abundant
for the very first time

Providing ravishing flourishes of nourishment
Something with which puberty had not
An offering for offspring to suckle and bond

Girths stature increasing by the second
Pleasing for the first time
My new rotund appearance welcomed
because of the out come

Jubilation my sustenance
Soon my bud will sprout and grow
Producing a beautiful flower
From her first breath,
she'll be showered in love
