The throbbing in my head
A pick ax inseminating cement
An insufferable strumming rubber band snapping

Green gargoyle's temper
ready to bare it's ugly head
Sanity's betrayal an outrage

I can't think straight
It's maddening, Why, Why?
Why is this baby crying?

Why can't I figure out what's wrong?
I'm the adult after all
She's the infant

At this point she has the information, the power
Incapable and inept to divulge it to me
I don't know who feels more helpless, powerless

My brain can finally rest
She's managed to cry herself to sleep
