I rushed to your side

I held your hand, said my goodbyes

As much as I tried

I could not stop the tears that streamed from my eyes

 

I watched you take your last breath

Gone to soon

Faded to your death

On a grey Saturday afternoon

 

Daddy’s little girl, left heart broken
