Perhaps I dwell in my lonely little la la land
Because its safer than the real world
Maybe I'm just scared to open up
And so afraid to get hurt

i really love this!! I can relate to it on so many levels - it truly speaks to me. I go to my own la la land so often, and you have captured the emotions associated with such an escape so beautifully.

Wonderful Mickey! I think everyone at some point or another has their own la la land. Though there are times I wish I could drag others into mine, they'd become so happeh ^_^ Though then I must agree that it's my own safe haven. And my sanctuary is meant for me and me alone. Great job as always!
