Picture-Perfect

Picture-Perfect

A Poem by LeAnn Taylor

Today's Dreams,
Are flown
On yesterday’s wings

Screams that my heart cries
Are not heard,
In the black and white crowed

All is hidden
With a mask,
Of a Picture-Perfect laugh
Guarding thoughts and fears
Of a nameless face

Yesterday’s wings
Are carried
By the fear of tomorrow
