Midnightdreams!

Midnightdreams!

A Poem by Midnight Dreams

As a little girl, I often slept on the terrace,

It was then that I saw some dreams,

The dreams you see with wide open eyes,

And you call them as Midnightdreams,

The stars in the sky would be the things,

I was delighted to pick up, to play with,

With a thread in my fingers I weaved them,

As flowers, as leaves, as a shining bouquet,

Sometimes I would just let the moon,

Slip away from my fist and roll up in the sky,

I climbed up on to the clouds in joy,

Made little huts from the white cotteny clouds,

I made a swing of a colorful rainbow,

I swinged in mirth, singing songs with birds,

I climbed from star to star and on to the moon,

I slept on my pillow holding white swan's plume,

I would wake up and check with in my pockets,

To find the clouds n stars I had put last night,

And looked up in the sky to smile at,

That one last star that was still there smiling,

I still have those with me, those very little eyes,

They still gaze at the sky and get wet,

While looking at the stars, and the clouds,

And I call them as Midnightdreams.
