The Day the Water Disappeared

The Day the Water Disappeared

A Poem by Steve
"

This is a nature poem that I wrote and the energy just flowed completely on it in my opinion

"

The waves and fish are all but gone
The sweet horizon has met its dawn
Today the ground opened up and swallowed all the water
The sun the sky the holy daughter

Shaking and grinding the plates slip and rub
Opening the drain in this giant earthly tub
Carved deep into the planet now just an empty hole
Mother earth weeps under willows mourning her child's lost soul

The children drown and the boats break in two
Everything swept into a maelstrom of blue
Swirling wirling death surrounds the entire ocean
Now dried out and lonely without love or devotion

Splendid, dear.
