Trusting And Loving Through It All

true friends stab you in the front
without regard or remorse,
caring nothing about how you feel
and let the destruction take it's coarse

family stab you in the back
every time they can,
trying to lie their way out
but the damage is already done.

employers stab you in your wallet
taking all the money they can
not caring about the hardship
they cause their fellow man

children stab you in your heart
hurting you cause they go
on with their own lives
roaming to and fro.

but in spite of all this hurt
we continue to love and trust,
and let it pass
with the dust.
